Jonathan Mallett

Photography started as simple curiosity and slowly became something I carry with me. It's a creative outlet and is my way of slowing down and trying to notice moments that might otherwise pass.

I enjoy trying and learning all different genres of photography. Some days it's wildlife and the satisfaction of what comes from having patience. Other times it's documentary-style work, capturing real, unposed moments as they happen. Travel is a big part of my life and visiting new places has a way of sharpening the eye, which I like to take back to places I'm more familiar with.

For me, photography is about following what feels interesting in the moment and seeing where that leads.
